Karakal Raw Pro Lite 2.1
The Karakal Raw Pro Lite 2.1 is the lighter version of the Karakal Raw Pro 2.1, Joel Makin's signature racket. You get the same ergonomic oval handle as the heavier Pro model, fully tailored to the preferred shape and specifications of the Welsh top player. The frame, however, weighs just 110 grams. That way you combine the control of a pro racket with the speed of a light frame. It is ideal if you want to react faster to drives and volleys and dictate the rally yourself.
Despite its low weight, the Karakal Raw Pro Lite 2.1 delivers surprising power. That comes from the head heavy balance (355 mm): the balance point sits towards the head, so even with a short, fast swing you put depth and pace into your shots. The frame is made of 'pure' graphite and gives a direct, crisp response. The mid-size 480 cm² head provides a generous sweet spot, and the 14/18 string pattern gives you extra grip on the ball, so you can place your drops and boasts accurately into the corners.
Comfort has not been overlooked either. A built-in vibration dampener absorbs vibrations in the frame, so every shot feels smooth and controlled, even during long training sessions and matches. The Crystal Clear grommets protect the strings and the frame. The Karakal Raw Pro Lite 2.1 comes strung as standard with Karakal Hot Zone 120 in black, a braided string with plenty of ball feel and control. The Karakal PU Super Grip gives you a firm, comfortable hold.
You store your racket in the included full-size eco cover made of soft fleece. The Karakal Raw Pro Lite 2.1 is made for dedicated club players and advanced players looking for a fast, manoeuvrable racket with the power and precision of a pro model. Want to play with Joel Makin's specifications, but in a lighter and faster package? Then the Karakal Raw Pro Lite 2.1 is your new weapon on court.
