The new Carboflex NEO
In squash you have hardly any space or time to react. How fast your racket travels through the air therefore determines how much speed you put on the ball. TecniLAB analysed hundreds of swing patterns and rebuilt the entire Carboflex line on that basis. All five models have a teardrop head of 500 cm², a frame without a bumper (X-TOP NEO) and a shaft that is 3% thicker at the heart (Heart Tech). The result: less weight in the head, more response in the throat.
The difference between the five models lies in weight, balance point, frame length and the thickness of the handle. From 120 grams to the 135 with its shorter X-Short frame: the lighter the racket, the faster your hands — the heavier it is, the more mass you get behind the ball and the easier the frame plays. Below you can see who each racket is made for.

Maximum swing speed
The lightest frame in the line. At 120 grams and with a swing weight seven points lower than the previous generation, the Tecnifibre Carboflex NEO 120 flies through the air. The frame asks for clean technique and rewards you with feel and pace.

The only one with a slimmer handle
The same weight and head size as the 125, but with a slightly higher balance point and a thinner grip. Nour El Sherbini has always played with a thinner handle and that has been carried over one to one into this model.

The Tecnifibre Carboflex NEO 130 puts more weight behind your length without you having to hit harder, with the same technology and the same design as the top models. Recognisable by the blue accent in the head.

Short frame, plenty of control
The only model with X-Short: a shorter frame length, which reduces the distance between your hand and the string bed so you are ready sooner for the next ball. At 135 grams and with the lowest balance point in the line, the Tecnifibre Carboflex NEO 135 sits short in the hand. The swing weight drops seven points compared with the previous generation. Red accent in the head.

Carboflex has been the benchmark on the PSA Tour for years. Mohamed El Shorbagy plays the NEO 125, Nour El Sherbini the NEO 125 NS with her slimmer handle and Nouran Gohar the NEO 120. Their input on balance, handle and swing weight, together with the measurements from TecniLAB, formed the basis for this generation.

Two technologies that make the difference
Speed · durability
X-TOP NEO
The classic bumper has disappeared completely. Instead of a plastic protective strip, the head gets aramid fibres against impact and a PTFE treatment against wear, with grommets integrated flush into the profile. That gives a smooth, closed frame that slides along the wall more easily and has less air resistance. The redesigned grommets also take weight out of the head: depending on the model, the swing weight drops by two to seven points.
Power · responsiveness
Heart Tech
Where the head became lighter, the throat became stiffer. Heart Tech stands for a new shaft mould that is 3% thicker at the heart of the racket. That extra material thickness makes the shaft more responsive: less energy disappears into flex, more goes into ball speed. So with the same effort you get more depth on your length. Because the dead plastic in the head has been replaced by active fibres, vibration stays limited.
